Volunteers
Volunteers are vital to the work that we do at PLP, and we highly value the time and resources that people are able to give to us. We recruit volunteers to work in three areas; on the administrative, events or legal aspects of our work. Expenses are paid.
Legal research volunteers
PLP regularly recruits volunteers to assist our caseworkers with legal research.
We welcome applications from people who:
- are graduates of the LPC or BVC; and
- have an interest in public / administrative law; and
- are able to commit to 2 days per week based in our office for a minimum of 3 months.
We also welcome applications from more experienced practitioners.

Training and Events Internship
PLP regularly recruits individual for an internship of 2 to 3 days a week, for at least 3 months. The candidate will need to take bookings, liaise with conference speakers, venues and service providers (e.g. designers), compile delegate pack material and gather notes for future programming. Full support will be given by members of staff, with the intern reporting to the Events and Resources Development Manager.
