Education Challenges in Wales

Education Challenges in Wales

Education is a devolved area, and an area where the Assembly and the Welsh Government has been particularly active. There is now a very real and distinct body of Welsh education law. This paper outlines the law in Wales in each of the following areas, and identifies the main areas for challenges in these areas:

  • Challenging school admission decisions
  • Ensuring that a child’s special educational needs are met
  • Challenging school exclusion decisions
  • Challenging school reorganisations
