Opportunity to train with PLP
Published: September 10 2014
PLP is recruiting a trainee solicitor through the Justice First Fellowship; a scheme which has been established to help talented law students establish sustainable careers with a focus on access to justice. The Scheme has been established by The Legal Education Foundation, in partnership with other funding organisations in the social welfare law sector.
The successful candidate placed with PLP will work with PLP’s Heads of Casework in matters of casework, project development, research and administration. They will assist PLP Solicitors in the conduct and co-ordination of public law litigation, and will be encouraged to be proactive about the development of their own supervised caseload and/or casework projects. The paid fellowship will run for two years, with the potential for a post-qualification post.
Closing date: 30 September 2014
