Conferences, training & events

Training is a key part of PLP’s development strategy. The more we can increase awareness and expertise about how to best use public law remedies, the more effectively we can achieve our core goal of increasing access to justice.

PLP’s training work takes different forms – in-house training, conferences, legal advice lines and seminars - but it all has the same end goal: to raise awareness of public law remedies, and to enable solicitors and non-legally qualified caseworkers and advocates to maximise their effective use. Please use the menu on the left to access more information about our in-house training, and upcoming events.

"Today was really excellent. Probably the best (i.e., most interesting and useful) legal training sessions I have ever attended - well done and thanks." "The workshops were practical and relevant to my work, and the conference as a whole was interesting and inspiring."
- Feedback from Judicial Review – Trends & Forecasts conference delegates

"Well worth the fees and more!"; "Very good course - best I've ever been on"; "Course material was accessible and extensive"; "It was refreshing to go on a training course that was delivered with such fluency"; "Extremely lucid and helpful presentation by an expert"; "A practical approach to a seemingly difficult subject - clearly explained"
- Feedback from in-house training courses
